Missional Activities
This section outlines the key outreach activities carried out during the mission period, highlighting the various approaches used to reach communities and share the message of salvation and hope in the areas of Masaka and Sembabule.
Street preaching
Street engagements involved direct, one-on-one interactions with individuals in public spaces. Missioners approached people personally, shared a brief and impactful Gospel message, and invited them to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.
This approach created immediate and meaningful connections, allowing the message to be
communicated in a relatable and personal manner. As a result, the outreach yielded positive
responses in several locations, with many individuals openly receiving the message and responding in faith.
Counselling and personal ministry
Volunteers provided one-on-one counselling and personal ministry to individuals facing emotional struggles, family challenges, and spiritual concerns. These engagements created a safe and supportive environment for individuals to open up and receive guidance grounded in the Word of God. Through these personalized interactions, deeper connections were established, leading to meaningful transformation and a lasting impact beyond the initial evangelistic outreach.
Congregational Church preaching
Missioners were invited to preach in churches, ministering to both children and adults within local congregations. These sessions were primarily organized in collaboration with the clergy of the host church communities. Through these gatherings, the Gospel message was delivered to larger audiences, creating opportunities for collective worship, teaching, and spiritual renewal.
Classroom engagements
Mission volunteers engaged learners directly within their respective classrooms, rather than
gathering them in a common space. This approach allowed the message to be tailored to specific age groups, making it more relevant, interactive, and impactful for each class. While highly effective in delivering age-appropriate teaching, this method was time-consuming
and physically demanding, as missioners were required to move from one classroom to another across multiple sessions.
Assembly engagements
Learners and inmates were gathered in open spaces or meeting halls where outreach sessions were conducted. These sessions typically began with warm and engaging introductions, often incorporating brief interactive questions to capture attention and create a welcoming atmosphere.

This approach proved to be the most commonly used approach in both school and prison settings, as it enabled the ministry to reach larger groups efficiently while delivering a unified and impactful message.
Conclusion
The mission was a great success, made possible by the dedication of the team and the invaluable support of our partners. To enhance future missions, there is a need to increase the mission team size to expand outreach and improve efficiency. Incorporating life skills training will add value by equipping individuals for personal development alongside spiritual growth.
Additionally, strengthening collaboration with local churches will ensure effective follow-up,
discipleship, and long-term impact of the mission. We remain deeply grateful for the continued partnership in advancing the Gospel and impacting lives across communities.
Philippians 1: 3-6: I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
